Dan holds an MBA from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. In addition to Dan's duties as owner and President of SDS, Dan is founder and lead principal of RateNow - a company that captures real time customer feedback through SMS texting. In addition to his duties with SDS Research and RateNow, Dan is also founder of a leisure products manufacturer/distributor (Wasatch Import), a small food service provider (Lahaina Shave Ice), and several retail websites. Dan and his wife Wendy have five kids, spend too much money at Disneyland, and live and die with the Utah Utes.

For 30 years, Dale was a partner and officer of Inkley's, a 29-store retail photographic and electronics company. Dale was one of the founders of SDS in 1990. Among his current duties, Dale is directly involved in working with SDS clients in conducting employee research which includes customer service training, employee surveys and focus group facilitation. He is also involved in providing analysis and feedback on all SDS research projects. Since graduating from the University of Utah, Dale has established a reputation as a business leader in the Salt Lake community, including service in the American Cancer Society, Crimson Club, and Children's Service Society of Utah. He also speaks fluent Spanish.

Judy Kimber

Operations & Call Center Manager

Judy has been with SDS for over 15 years. She offers a wealth of experience and understanding in data collection and customer contact management, and she has managed the call center through every data collection scenario imaginable.

The average tenure for SDS Call Center Staff is over 5 years. The call center agents are closely trained and certified, and are focused solely on customer satisfaction and market research. There is no telemarketing or hard selling of anything from the SDS call center, and our agents have as their top priority the satisfaction of survey respondents and enhancing the relationships between SDS clients and their customers.

Miranda Roberts

Office Manager

Miranda has been a member of the SDS research team since October, 2006. Her duties include answering phones, project implementation and management, quality control, and assuring the highest standards in the final product delivered to clients. She also assists and facilitates in all of the SDS baseline, EPS, monthly, quarterly ongoing and TouchPoint reports. Miranda completed the Business & Technologies course through Weber Basin Job Corps.
